Race Overview
Since 2007, Miles for Smiles 5K has not only been a fun race for competitive runners, it’s been a great event for families wanting to share a great outdoor experience.
This year’s event will be held on Sunday, May 19, 2024 at the North Area Athletic Complex (NAAC) in Arvada. Please note, dogs are not permitted in the complex.
Following the 5K, we invite kids with adaptive equipment to join Jordyn’s Adaptive Dash, in memory of Jordyn Grochocki. She was an important part of the foundation since its inception and passed away in 2017. For Jordyn’s Dash, kids use their adaptive equipment (tricycles, wheelchairs, walkers, strollers, etc.) and walk, roll, or ride their way to the 50 yard finish line. The dash is free and everyone is a winner! Kids will receive a special prize for participating in the dash, but we will need you to RSVP per the instructions below so we can make sure we have enough prizes for everyone. The dash is a blast for spectators and participants alike! If you’re running the 5K, we invite you to stick around for this special event.

PARKING
Parking lots are available off of 64th Pkwy on the west side of the stadium. There will be assistance the day of the event to guide you.
Registration Fees
5K Run/Walk – Adults – $30 until March 31. Price Increases to $35 on April 1.
Registration includes a long sleeve t-shirt.
5K Run/Walk – Children (ages 5-12) – $20
Registration includes a youth large t-shirt.
Jordyn’s Adaptive Dash – FREE!

Online registration closes at 7:00pm on Thursday, May 16. Race day registration is available for an additional $10 from 7:45am to 8:45am.
You must register by April 15 to be guaranteed your t-shirt size. Race day registrations are not guaranteed a t-shirt.

Packet Pick Up: Packets will be available for pick up at Barquentine Brewing Company in Edgewater Public Market on May 18 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Packets not picked up at Barquentine will be available on race morning from 7:45 a.m. until 8:45 a.m. Registration will be available at Barquentine for an additional $10.
Information for Jordyn's Adaptive Dash
Jordyn’s Adaptive Dash is free and we would like to invite your child to participate in the race. Jordyn’s Adaptive Dash will be at 10:00am, following the 5K run/walk, and everyone is a winner! We will be giving the kids a special prize for participating in the Dash, but we will need you to RSVP so we can make sure we have enough prizes for everyone.
